Under the leadership of Artistic Director Nadia Adame, AXIS Dance Company is a pioneering ensemble that integrates disabled, non-disabled, d/Deaf, and neurodiverse performers. Since its inception in 1987, the company has been at the forefront of challenging traditional perceptions of dance and disability. AXIS has toured extensively across the globe and has been recognized with nine Isadora Duncan Dance Awards. The company also commissions new works from renowned choreographers and offers comprehensive dance education and outreach programs.
