Bronx Community College is committed to redefining what's possible by offering over 40 academic programs, including Automotive Technology, Nuclear Medicine, and Digital Film Production. The college supports students in overcoming academic and personal challenges, with a focus on ensuring graduates are free of federal loan debt.
Established in 1957, Bronx Community College began classes in 1959 at the former Bronx High School of Science site. Under the leadership of Dr. Morris Meister, it evolved into a comprehensive community college. Notably, it is the only community college in the U.S. recognized as a National Historic Landmark, reflecting its significant role in American history and culture.
