ClancyWorks Dance Company has a rich history of artistic and pedological contributions to dance education and performance. Founded by Adrienne Clancy in 2001, the company has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life by using the arts as a vehicle to develop mutual understanding and advance positive social action. Over the years, ClancyWorks has been involved in various programs and initiatives, including the Dance Educators Training Institute (DETI) and Building Racial Equity in the Arts through Dance (BREAD) programs. The company has also been recognized for its exploration of architecturally informed partnering work, which is both an aesthetic statement and a source of powerful images that embrace diversity and exemplify trust.
