Our mission is to help dance organizations preserve, celebrate, and amplify their art legacies online. We believe that performing arts are a vital part of our cultural heritage, providing a unique insight into the human experience. Our primary goal is to ensure this legacy is preserved for future generations.

ChromaDiverse was founded by Judy Tyrus in 2019. The organization focuses on preserving the history of performing arts, particularly the legacy of the Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH). Judy Tyrus, a principal ballerina and curator, has dedicated her career to documenting and preserving diverse dance legacies. ChromaDiverse provides digital archiving solutions to ensure that the archives of performing arts organizations are preserved and accessible. The organization is also involved in the launch of CurtainConnect, a platform that allows dance history to be shared and preserved for future generations. ChromaDiverse's work is crucial in making dance history free and accessible for all.
