My time touring the UK with Ballet Central as a student at Central School of Ballet shaped my relationship with dance and showed me that this was how I wanted to live my life. Touring also taught me how dance can build community and connect people across cultures. Later, as a professional dancer with Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York City, touring taught me what it means to be part of a large artistic family. Through dance, I came to see the world itself as my home. ✨
