Keith Lee, born in the Bronx New York, began dance training at age three and later studied at the High School of Performing Arts and major ballet schools. He joined American Ballet Theatre in 1969, became a soloist in 1970, and built a wide-ranging career as a dancer, choreographer, teacher, director, and arts leader. He continues creating choreographic works, teaching, mentoring and supporting dance outreach programs.
