I’ve always been passionate about the performing arts, and dance has been at the center of that passion for most of my life. My work—ranging from performing and arts management to research, archiving, and education—has continually brought me into conversation with dancers, choreographers, and diverse artistic communities. I learn from every environment I enter, approaching the field as a lifelong learner and an eclectic spirit who finds joy in the many ways movement can tell stories. Travel has also shaped my love for dance. I’ve explored cultures across the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe, the Pacific, Africa, and Asia, and each destination has broadened my understanding of the art form. Experiencing dance in so many places has deepened my respect for its power to reflect identity, history, and imagination. That global perspective fuels my commitment to documenting, preserving, and championing dance wherever I can.
Dancers to whose documentations I've provided input: • Douglas Anthony • Charles Grant • Erick Hodges • Stanley Joseph • Sduduzo Ka-Mbili • Aubrey Lynch • D'Juan McCrary • Leroy McNeil • Stephanie Moseley • Danny Strayhorn • Doris Eaton Travis • Leni Wylliams

A Michigan native based mostly in New York, I’ve traveled widely and cultivated a deep passion for dance and the performing arts.
