Tyrone Brooks, former principal dancer with Dance Theatre of Harlem for 18 years, performed internationally in major works by leading choreographers. He became Artistic Director of The Tallahassee Ballet in 2013–14 and later Artistic Advisor. He also taught at DTH for over 25 years and led the Virginia School of the Arts.
